Non-prior service members will attend a military specialty school to train in the job they selected upon joining the Army National Guard. Prior service members selecting a different job skill will attend a school to reclassify.

You will continue to sharpen your job skills through training within your unit. The Army National Guard provides you the opportunity to attend schools to further your knowledge in your occupation. Leadership schools will teach you management skills as you move up in rank.
