•The WO Candidate school Enlistment option is used to allow prior service NCOs' with the minimum DA WO MOS proponency requirements to become a WO in the SDARNG. This option offers the opportunity for separating active duty NCOs' to apply for entrance into the SDARNG Warrant Officer Education System (WOES)
•Applicants will have 1 year from the date of enlistment to be appointed as a WOC. The enlistment option does not pertain to AVN flight applicants.
•Eligibility Requirements: PS only
–Must have served in an Active or Reserve component with no more than 12 mo break in service.
–Must meet eligibility standards of ch 3 ECM.
–Be US citizen
–GT 110
–Pass 3 event APFT
–Ch 2 commissioning physical requirements
–Less than 44 years of age
–Security clearance
–Possess required enlisted feeder MOS.
–Meet the mental, physical and moral requirements in NGR 600-101
