What is RSP Training?
Recruitment Sustainment Program (RSP) training is a comprehensive training cycle that is focused on preparing a new non-prior service trainee to successfully complete Basic Combat Training (BCT). This training will give the new trainee the overall advantage through their training cycle.

The RSP Philosophy:
To transform South Dakota Army National Guard new non-prior enlistees into duty Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Soldiers. Qualified, fully trained and mission ready. These Soldiers will be prepared to participate and contribute as a full partner in unit training.

Focus for RSP Training:
Instill commitment; develop skill, character and a Warrior Ethos, devoted to their unit and the South Dakota National Guard.
